“Friendly work environment.”
“Busy physical therapy clinic. Friendly work environment. The owners are a husband-wife combo who work alongside the other therapists. A typical day at work starts with things like checking the voice messages and setting up the therapists rooms. Most of the day is spent collecting co-payments, scheduling patients, uploading documents into EMR, doing reminder calls and billing.
Depending on the location, you could have a little more or a little less work to do (like folding laundry). The workplace culture is good, the therapists are nice and helpful and will even treat you during their lunch break or in-between other patients if your neck or back is hurts, we also had potlucks which is always a nice perk 🙂
The owners are busy, but will make time to meet with you if you have a problem and are also easy to talk to. I only got about 1 week of PTO a year but if I needed more time off, I was never told I could not have it. The hardest part of the job was having to travel to cover the Destin office once it opened because of the summer traffic, but management would let me adjust my work schedule so that the commutes were easier.”
