(Physical Therapist)

Hello, I am Dr. Shannon Towne and I am a dedicated physical therapist with a diverse background and a passion for improving lives through specialized care. I graduated from Nova Southeastern University with a BS in Biology in 2017, followed by earning my Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2022.

I specialize in pelvic floor rehabilitation, bringing advanced skills and compassionate care to my patients. Additionally, I enjoy treating orthopedic patients, blending my expertise to provide comprehensive therapy solutions.

My journey into physical therapy was shaped by a lifelong dedication to athletics. I pole vaulted throughout my undergraduate and PT school years, and prior to that, I spent 17 years training in gymnastics, which instilled a deep understanding of movement and performance.

Certified in dry needling, I utilize innovative techniques to complement my treatment strategies, ensuring personalized and effective rehabilitation plans for all my patients.

Outside of my professional achievements, I find joy in my family life. I am happily married to Ian and am a proud mother of two daughters, Elliott and Adeline. Together, we share a love for outdoor adventures such as paddle boarding, free diving, rock climbing and biking to the beach. My curiosity about the world extends to travel, where I love to explore new places and cultures with my family.

I can’t wait to help you reach your personal and athletic goals whether you need my care following a sports injury or following labor and delivery!
